Duties and Responsibilities
Daily opening and/or closing of the store. Ensuring proper maintenance of the cash registers. Counting the received amount and handing the change to the consumers. Swiping the credit and debit cards appropriately for charging clients. Ensuring that the goods are packed and handed to the customers at the checkout. Interacting with store customers and addressing any queries or grievances of the customers. Completing all tasks assigned by the manager or supervisor Helping the customers choose goods Showing them the different goods in display Arranging demonstrations of goods Explaining the usage pattern of the goods When the sale is made, accept payments and hand over the receipt to the customer Handle exchange of goods Place price tags on the goods and arrange the goods in an attractive manner Keep the store clean and free of dust.

Skills and Specifications
Should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with customers. Should have excellent arithmetic skills and the ability to calculate efficiently. Should possess knowledge to operate cash registers. Should be compliant with the procedures for recording credit and debit card transactions Ability to effectively manage time. Excellent customer service ethics.
