Jobs for Life
JFL is a Biblically based program that uses the stories of biblical characters to teach life skills and how to deal with the “roadblocks” we all face in life which may hinder us from reaching our goals. It consists of 16 classes meeting twice each week for 8 weeks.
The course teaches lessons learned from Joseph, David, and Ruth, the teachings of Jesus’ parables, and modern heroes. The class also provides students with work-readiness skills including resume writing, interviewing, and developing a vocational plan.
Each student is guided by their own mentor who offer support and friendship throughout the course and in employment.
